Vibe-coding is not limited to adding a field here and there. You can ask for a completely new app inside Odoo, with its own menu, list, form, and workflow.
To show this, we asked the Odoo Vibe-Coding Platform to build a Visitor Log app for the front desk, from scratch.
The request
In short: a simple app to record office visitors, with their details, the time they arrive, a Check Out button when they leave, and a clear status for each visit.
What the AI agent built
- A new Visitor Log app with its own menu in Odoo.
- Visitor records with name, contact details, and check-in time.
- List and form views, so the front desk can see all visitors at a glance or open one visit.
- Check Out button that records the time the visitor leaves.
- Visit status, so you can see who is still in the building.
Built as a separate module
The agent created the Visitor Log as its own module, separate from other customisations. That keeps your Odoo clean and makes the app easy to update or remove later.
